Su Jok For Everybody
BRIEF REVIEW OF THE BOOK BY PROF PARK JAE WOO
V.A.Kolodkin, M.D., Chief Doctor of Su Jok Academy
Over the past years many books on Su Jok Therapy have been published. For those who have come to study the Onnuri medicine. Meanwhile, those who have long practiced the Su Jok Therapy techniques would be able to learn about and appreciate the most recent publications and reissues of well-known text-books and manuals.
Onnuri Medicine - Su Jok Therapy, it has long transformed from an unconventional aspect of medicine into a broad-scale and socially-oriented movement. One of the fundamentals of this movement is its popular nature. Its prime object consists in allowing everybody to acquire the feeling of a person in his or her own right when it comes to foster health, and to be able to aid recovery of himself and people around you at least in most simple or trivial cases. This is becoming the matter of paramount importance when it goes about the last-minute decision with no medical staff nearby.
Although rather small in volume, the Su Jok for Everybody book does appear to be hugely informative. It contains the data which are straightforward and comprehensible for everybody who can read. As you embark on studying the Su Jok Therapy, you don’t need to remember word-by-word what you have read through. What is needed is to grasp the meaning of the whole thing. Thus, it is the first section of the book where Prof. Park Jae Woo gives, in the most easy to understand way, the details of the principles characterizing the similarity and correspondences of hands and feet to the human body. After becoming familiar with the said section, the reader is likely to become independent in his efforts to heal, and he would be able to use the therapeutic systems of hands and feet under any conditions, even when he has to manipulate solely by his own hands! Yet the advantages offered by the Su Jok therapy would not stop here. The author is resourceful enough to foresee those cases where the circumstances would not allow a Su Jok beginner to take his time to think over the most adequate way of providing necessary treatment. To help the matters in these cases the book is lavishly illustrated with figures ingeniously indicating in a variety of ways the hand and feet zones corresponding to different parts of the human body. The reader is presented with the opportunity to choose the most appropriate system of therapeutic modality. For instance, each and every person is likely to find out that stimulating the backbone correspondence points in some cases looks more appropriate provided it is based on the insect therapeutic system. In addition, the reader will become aware of the fact that a rather sizable affected area of the human body could be represented by means of a single point in the therapeutic mini-system to be found upon the hand and foot. The 6th Chapter of the book presents the technique of therapeutic effect produced on the correspondence points. Here you can find a range of simulators to be applied in the Su Jok therapy either for treatment purposes or as preventive measures in dealing with diseased conditions. The techniques of manipulating the instruments and devices are described as well.
The book ends with the section devoted to clinical observations. Here the doctors from many corners of the world will share their experience with reference to many cases 1 demonstrating especial efficacy of the Su Jok approach when challenged by the most diverse range of diseases. And each case is provided with a description of the technique of therapeutic modality involving the hands and feet correspondence systems. The Su Jok for Everybody book is indeed of interest to general practitioners, as well as to doctors specializing in different spheres of medicine. In fact, the Su Jok therapy is bound to be of value in managing diseases and illnesses both on the in-patient and out-patient basis. The Su Jok method can be employed either as one of the elements of a combined medical approach or as a self- sufficient, single-handed aspect of therapy. The offered book is widely accepted in many countries of the world, and it has been translated into several foreign languages.
New book by Professor Park Jae woo. VA.Kolodkin,

Su Jok Academy,
We are witnesses to an interesting phenomenon: Su Jok therapy is becoming a truly general knowledge like a folk song, which everyone sings not knowing sometimes that the song had the author. The reason of this popularity of the new therapeutic system is that, being meant for all people regardless of education, social position, age, nationality and religion; it includes methods of different levels of complexity.
Some of these methods can be used only by qualified medical specialists; others can be successfully applied by nurses and paramedical personnel. And there are also methods that are absolutely safe and simple, being highly effective. Everyone can learn and master them to give pre-medical help to oneself and one’s family.
The new book Be your own Su Jok Doctor by Professor Park Jae Woo describes exactly such methods. This is, in fact, a Su Jok therapy manual for both medical practitioners and lay persons. Even an experienced doctor will find valuable and useful information there.
In the first — theoretical — part of this manual the main therapeutic and diagnostic methods of Su Jok therapy are introduced, and Chapter II contains various approaches to dealing with common diseases, such as arthritis, herpes, bronchitis, osteochondrosis, obesity, piles, impotence... The book is written in a very simple, comprehensible, lively language, as if the author is having an unhurried talk with his old acquaintances — easily but very coherently discussing serious medical matters: how spinal pains can be helped; what to do if the joints ache; how to alleviate a headache and stop coughing; what to do for indigestion and constipation; how to overcome fatigue and aging; how to become energetic and beautiful; finally, how to cope with impotence. Be your own Su Jok Doctor is one of the series of popular books meant for the wide reading public. It can be used freely by persons of various occupations, by retired people, housewives and even children. I am sure that it will become a helpful desk book in each household, a reliable friend and advisor to all who cares about their health and the health of their families.

In 2002-2003 the Su Jok Publishing House issued a series of new books by Professor Park Jae Woo in the English and Russian languages entitled Twist Therapy, Twist Walking, Joyful Twist Walking. Since Prof. Park Jae Woo developed and introduced to the wide public the theory of the spiral net Neutro energy system, in the professional language of Su Jok therapy practitioners one could often hear the word Twist. Not as a name of the once popular dance, but as a reference to a new original method of treating and preventing diseases with the help of twist motions of the body. A powerful harmonizing effect of twist motions and postures is ensured by the fact that they activate meridians of the spiral net energy system filling them in with Neutro energy. One simple twist motion of the neck (neck twist) arrests a headache. The neck find trunk twist allows decreasing high blood pressure. After a single spiral twist of the chest heart pains disappear. Even emotional disorders, feelings of anxiety, sadness and other stressful states yield to treatment by twist motions.
The book Twist Therapy deals with the correct ways of selecting twist postures and twist motions in each individual medical case. It demonstrates that the body has really an unlimited potential of self-regulation and self-adjustment. And every person can use it consciously, having mastered this simple enough knowledge system.
The book Twist Walking will help the reader to comprehend the deep meaning of spiral motions and make twist a daily routine. The theory and practice of twist walking have been developed based on the Triorigin law and Triorigin model (Homo, Hetero, Neuto and Neutro), the fundamental principles of being. The human body motions are considered in the book from the viewpoint of the Triorigin theory. Special attention has been given to Neutro twist motions that are employed during walking. When the characteristics of the motions we perform follow the Triorigin principle, our body achieves a highly harmonious state, which means physical and mental health.
The book Joyful Twist Walking leaving aside philosophical and theoretical aspect of the method can be recommended to the broadest reading public. This is a pleasurable and joyful manual to exercising your body by performing various fancy spirals with it. All that is not just for fun! Twist motions keep the body health and the mind clear. While make them, the Neutro fort so vitally important, is always with us. So Twist for health!
